The room was clean and cozy, the owners so very nice. After we left mount id motel
It is so peaceful there. Just left there after 2 nights and they allow pets.
I grew up staying here multiple times a year. We were like family to the previous owners and I have so many fond memories of this quaint little motel. Nothing fancy, just the basics, but it definitely was our inexpensive home away from home for many years.
Nothing special but if you need a place to lay your head on highway 27 just north of Mt. Ida, this isn't a bad alternative. The rooms are old but have everything you need to be comfortable. I used this as a base for a February Womble ride and it was all I needed. I rode to the highway 27 trailhead on Womble road and went south to North Fork Lake. I didn't have enough daylight to make the return ride on the trail so I took the road back to the Aqua Motel.
, we called her at 3am and she was so nice! Your crazy if you stay at the mount ida hotel!
